Tackle AOD Stigma in Tasmania

All Tasmanians deserve the opportunity to get the help they need. By creating safe spaces for open and honest conversations about alcohol and other drugs in our workplaces, we can make sure everyone feels supported to raise concerns without fear of stigma.

DEN’s new Tackling AOD Stigma in the Workplace training gives your team the tools to recognise, challenge, and reduce stigma in meaningful ways.

How does it work?

Requesting a Tackling AOD Stigma in the Workplace workshop is easy:

1. Fill out the form on the right to request training.
2. Within 2 business days, you'll receive an email with next steps and your request number.
3. When your request is at the top of the queue, one of our Educators will be in contact to talk to you in detail about your needs.
4. At the time of confirming dates for your workshop or education session you will be issued an invoice for the booking fee: once payment is received, your booking will be confirmed.
5. Once training is finished, each participant will receive a certificate of attendance.

What to expect:

Participants will leave with an understanding of:

• What stigma is, the effect it can have, and how it can show up in workplaces
• Reflective practice to help reduce stigma
• Interventions to reduce stigma in the workplace
