Alcohol and Consent

Overview

In collaboration with The Sexual Assault Support Service (SASS), The DEN developed an Australian first primary health prevention mass media project – Consent and Alcohol with the campaign slogans:

“Off your head don’t share your bed”

“Consent and Alcohol. Did anyone say YES?”

Aimed at the Tasmanian community, the project aims to:

Raise awareness
Increase knowledge and;
Change attitudes with regards to consent and alcohol

Key Activities

Education sessions are available upon request for community organisations, workplaces, sporting clubs and schools.

Research continues on this project and a Business Plan is available for potential partners and investors. All work the DEN undertakes is evaluated for effectiveness.
