Alateen: Young people come together to share experiences, discuss difficulties, learn how to cope with problems and help each other.

Al-Anon (Alcoholics Anonymous): Members´ primary purpose is to stay sober and help others achieve sobriety. The group shares experience, strength and hope with each other to overcome their problem.

Alcohol and Drug Service (ADS): Provides information, alcohol and drug assessments, access to treatment, referrals, counselling, group work programs, methadone programs and other services.

Bridge Centre, Salvation Army: An intensive drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit. It´s set on a bush property and can accommodate up to 20 people on site - both men and women. 
 

Counselling Online: A service where you can communicate with a professional counsellor about an alcohol or drug related concern, using text-interaction. This service is free for anyone seeking help with their own drug use or the drug use of a family member, relative or friend.

Crisis Sexual Assault Service: Provides crisis counselling, support with police statements, and coordinates medical and/or forensic examinations if required by victims of sexual assault. 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Family Drug Support Line (FDS):  Supports families struggling as a result of drug use. They aim to assist in any way possible to empower families to cope with the realisation of their situation and to survive it intact. 
 

Holyoake Tasmania Inc: Helps families affected by addiction; alcohol, drugs and gambling or other addictive behaviours.

Kids Helpline: Australia´s only free, confidential and anonymous, telephone and online counselling service specifically for young people aged between 5 and 25.

Life Line: 24 hour free telephone counselling service. It is determined not to let loneliness, isolation or anxiety be the cause of death. It also deals with mental health, wellbeing and help seeking behaviours.

Link Youth Health Service: Conducts the Innovative Health Services for Homeless Youth (IHSHY) program and offers alcohol and drug counselling, support, information and referrals.

Narcotics Anonymous: An organisation for recovering addicts where members learn from one another how to live drug-free and recover from the effects of addiction in their lives.

Quit Tasmania: Dedicated to eliminating the pain, illness and suffering caused by tobacco. 

Reachout: A web-based service that inspires young people to help themselves through tough times by improving young people´s mental health and well being. Provides support, information and referrals.

Relationships Australia: Provides relationship support to people regardless of age, religion, gender, cultural or economic background using education programs, counselling programs, primary dispute resolution services and children´s services.

Sexual Assault Support Service: Provides counselling, support and information for those who have experienced sexual assault at any time during their lives. 

TasCAHRD: The Tasmanian Council on AIDS, Hepatitis and Related Diseases (TasCAHRD) aims to reduce the risk and incidence of and to support those affected by HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis and Related Diseases.

Tune In Not Out (TINO): TINO is a national podcast service created for and by you on any issue that relates to living safe and healthy, so that can be from getting a safe tattoo, to safe partying, sex and mental health. Our main aim is to provide you with information on any issue that may help you to live a happy life.

What´s the Rush: A drug and alcohol website for Australian teenagers containing detailed, factual drug and alcohol information as well as talking about the risks and effects, safety and health information.
