Crisis Sexual Assault Service
Provides crisis counselling, support with police statements, and coordinates medical and/or forensic examinations if required by victims of sexual assault. 24 hours, 7 days a week. Phone: 6231 1817
 
Domestic Violence Crisis Service
A state government helpline available 9am to midnight Mon-Fri and 4pm to midnight on weekends and public holidays. Free service. Phone: 1800 608 122

Family Violence Response & Referral Line
Free, state wide helpline that responds to situations of family violence. It provides referrals for counselling & support, information & referral to people in abusive relationships. Phone: 1800 633 937  Fax: 6233 2775

Family Planning Tasmania
Family Planning Tasmania offers professional, non-directive pregnancy counselling and referral. Family Planning Tasmania provides information on all options for unplanned pregnancy to enable women to make informed choices about their future. Costs for this service are Medicare plus $15.00. Hassles
Hassles is a free service for young people and parents who are in conflict. It offers:
• counselling for young people, parents and families (separately and together) to help them find a way through family conflict
• family mediation
• community education about conflict and conflict resolution for community groups, organisations and schools
• support to avert youth homelessness

Kids Helpline
Kids Help Line is Australia´s only free, confidential and anonymous, telephone and online counselling service specifically for young people aged between 5 and 25. Phone: 1800 551 800

Life Line
24 hour free telephone counselling service. It is determined not to let loneliness, isolation or anxiety be the cause of death. It also deals with mental health, wellbeing and help seeking behaviours. Phone: 13 1144

Lifelink Samaritans
The Lifelink Samaritans offer a 24 hour free, confidential statewide telephone befriending service and a face to face befriending service by appointment for people in the Launceston area. Link Youth Health Centre
The Link conducts the Innovative Health Services for Homeless Youth (IHSHY) program and offers:
• Alcohol and drug counselling, support and intervention
• General health information, support and referral
• Health promotion
• Education and training
Specialist staff include:
• a family planning nurse who condusts sexual health clinic;
• an alternative therapist who provides massage;
• a Centrelink worker who is available to answer queries

Mental Health Services Tasmania
Mental Health Services work with customer, carers and the broader community to treat, support and manage mental disorders to maximise mental health, well being and quality of life for people with a mental illness. Mental Health Services provide crisis assessment / treatment, intensive support, community care and rehabilitation services. It is a State Government department. Phone: 1800 332 388

Options is for young people and parents who are in conflict. It offers:

Pulse Youth Health Centre
The PULSE Team provide a range of FREE health & wellbeing services to young people aged 12-24 years in the Glenorchy area. The team is made up of nurses, alcohol and drug worker, social worker, creative arts worker & a youth worker with a visiting doctor 2 days each week. Reachout
Reach Out! is a web-based service that inspires young people to help themselves through tough times. The aim of the service is to improve young people´s mental health and well being by  providing support information and referrals in a format that appeals to young people. They could be struggling with depression or suicidal thoughts, wanting to do something for their local community or simply experiencing new ways to learn and grow. http://reachout.com.au

Relationships Australia
Relationships Australia provides relationship support to people regardless of age, religion, gender, cultural or economic background. Itis committed to enhancing the lives of communities, families and individuals and supporting positive and respectful relationships. Most clients seek their services to help strengthen and build relationships or resolve relationship breakdown issues. These services are provided through our education programs, counselling programs, primary dispute resolution services and children´s services. Sexual Assault Support Service
SASS provides counselling, support and information for those who have experienced sexual assault at any time during their lives, whether the offender was an acquaintance, stranger or family member. Services include:
• Individual and group counselling and support for children (aged 0-12) and their families/carers,
• Crisis and ongoing counselling and support for men and women aged 13 and over
• Support for statements and forensic examinations,
• Support for non-abusing caregivers and support people
