Launceston City Mission Drug & Alcohol Services
The City Mission provides a range of services for sobering up and rehabilitation. The Crisis Unit is a sobering up service (overnight and up to 24 hours) for anyone 18 years and over. Missiondale is a Christian community with a live in program providing recovery, accommodation and support. It offers long-term support and rehabilitation. Clients must be fully detoxed before entering the program. It is available for anyone over 18 years including families/single parents. The Outreach service operates from both Launceston and Hobart providing support and counselling to Tasmanians who:
